This is a short segment in a Fuji TV show where they sent new announcers to interview SHINee (and other artists). Then they'll do a promotion of the single (Boys Meet U) at the end and SHINee will judge if they did well. I'll just refer to the announcers as Mana (in black cardigan) and Reina (in white). Reina: First of all, what kind of song is "Boys Meet U"? Key: It's a song that livens you up the moment you hear it. In the song, we enumerated stuff we like in a girl, like girls in short pants... Jonghyun: Girls with black hair... Key: Girls with long hair, something like that. Mana: In relation, what is your type of girl? Key: (to Minho) What girls do you like? Jonghyun: Aahhh....what is your type of girl, Taemin-kun? Key: (to Taemin) What type do you like? Taemin: Why me? Key: Which among them is your type? (points to the announcers) Jonghyun: LOL This would be troublesome, hey. Key: Just say it. Jonghyun & Key: Ready, set... Taemin: I don't want to, it's troublesome... Key: You're so boring. This is no fun. Taemin: That's not....then Key-san you should say yours! Reina: Ok, then what do girls usually want to see in SHINee? (What in SHINee appeals to girls) Key: I guess it's our members individual charm. Jonghyun: Yeah, that's true. But as for me... Key: Well, they like it since you sing well. Jonghyun: That's true (thumbs up). Thank you. I like singing. Key: Jonghyun likes to sing, and Minho...uh...wait um... (Everyone lol's and Onew high-fives Key) Key: I'm sorry, it's hard to say um...he has an ikemen (cool, handsome guy) aura? Jonghyun: He's really cool. Minho: Ohhhh (high-fives Key) Key: Um, Onew's is...well, he's our leader. Onew: Yeah, that's probably the best description of me... Reina: How did he become the leader? Did all of you vote for him or... Key: Nah, it's because he's the oldest. Our president just told him, "You, become the leader." (Everyone laughs.) Mana: Now, about your Boys Meet U PV, did your individualities come out in it? How was it? Key: We went to shoot in Okinawa. Reina: The beach is really pretty, isn't it? It's shining. Key: Yes. Have you even seen our PV? Reina & Mana: We have! Key: Are you sure? You're not lying right? Reina & Mana: It's trueee! We did! There was even a dog, right? Key: Ohhh (convinced) Reina: What is the thing you loved most, then (in Okinawa)? Onew: Taco rice. [t/n: Tako Rice is an Okinawan dish composed of taco ingredients (ground beef, cheese, tomato, salsa, etc) on rice. It's a really common meal in Okinawa and is found in Okinawan branches of Yoshinoya and KFC.] Key: Oh we did eat taco rice! Jonghyun: Did you like it? Key: I love it! Jonghyun: Really? Key: I just have one question though. Why is taco rice a delicacy in Okinawa? Isn't it supposed to be from Mexico?? Reina & Mana: Oh? Oh...now that you think about it... Key: Ah, don't think too much about it, I was just curious! I mean, anywhere in the world there might be taco rice, right? Mana: But you meant tako as octopus, right? (She misunderstood taco rice as tako/octopus on rice) Key: Ta...co... Jonghyun: Tako?? Key: (realization) Ah, I don't mean that tako! I meant as in real taco! I mean the Mexican taco! Mana: Oh, it's not that tako?! I see... Jonghyun: Wait a sec...why is it... Key: Are announcers in Japan different? In Korea the smart people become announcers. (Mana does a 15-sec promo of the single with Jonghyun bothering her from behind) Mana: Kamsahamnida! SHINee: Ohhhh!!! Taemin: I didn't understand a thing, though... Key: Japanese is so hard, isn't it?? Taemin: (shakes hand) Jonghyun: We'll do our best to understand Japanese more! (Reina does a 15-sec promo with JongTae in the background) Minho: Why am I sweating?? Jonghyun: Sweat? Is it sweat? Why?!
